China’s social security policy system currently confronts prominent issues: poor interconnection, remarkable implementation discrepancies, and deviations from original design purposes. These problems stem from inaccurate policy positioning, absence of unified internal standards, and inadequate professional competence of policy-implementing entities. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, the reform of this system should be advanced from three dimensions: thoroughness, continuity, and operability. The reform is intended to realize scientific standardization, stable continuity, and efficient implementation of social security policies, thereby facilitating a more harmonious, stable, and prosperous society.
