With the enhancement of China's economic growth and trade facilitation, fruit imports have emerged as a new growth point in foreign trade. China and Thailand, with their complementary resources, have achieved remarkable results in fruit trade cooperation. Especially driven by trade facilitation measures, China's imports of fruits from Thailand reached US$2.9 billion in 2020, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 39.43%, making each country the other's largest fruit trading partner. This paper analyzes the impact of trade facilitation on China's imports of fruits from Thailand from the perspective of trade facilitation. Firstly, it elaborates on the research background and significance, and reviews relevant literature. Secondly, it analyzes the scale, structure, market, logistics status, and existing problems of China's imports of Thai fruits. Thirdly, it dissects the impact mechanism of trade facilitation from various aspects such as infrastructure, regulatory environment, e-commerce and finance, customs, and information technology. Finally, it proposes countermeasures and suggestions to promote the facilitation and development of Sino-Thai fruit trade and imports, including enhancing product added value, expanding sales channels, strengthening connectivity, and improving the logistics system.
