Grounded in the educational philosophy of “cultivating students through aesthetic education” and the core-competency orientation advocated in the Arts Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition), this paper focuses on the practical difficulties in primary school music singing instruction and explores innovative teaching approaches by analyzing such problems as outdated teaching methods, insufficient alignment between teacher and student competencies, lack of teaching resources, and inadequate attention from both schools and families. The study constructs an innovative three-in-one teaching system integrating story-based instruction, role-playing, and gamified teaching, and demonstrates through specific teaching cases its practical effectiveness in stimulating students’ interest, deepening emotional experience, and enhancing artistic expressiveness. The findings show that these three innovative methods can effectively promote the transformation of music teaching from “knowledge transmission” to “competency cultivation,” providing theoretical support and operable strategies for improving the quality of primary school singing instruction and helping realize the educational goals of music education.
