As key components of the lifelong education system, vocational education and community education are both necessary and feasible to integrate and innovate within the broader context of advancing industry-education integration in vocational education and deepening the development of a learning society. This study aims to explore practical pathways for mutual support and collaborative development between vocational and community education, fostering deep integration and establishing a new model for continuing education and lifelong learning. For vocational institutions, this approach enhances their capacity to serve local communities, expand their educational functions, and improve overall competence; for community education, such integration contributes to higher quality, greater effectiveness, and sustained development of both community economies and industry-education partnerships. The common ground for their synergy lies in establishing community colleges that integrate academic and industrial elements.
