With the deepening of the new curriculum reform, the traditional high school geography teaching mode has gradually revealed the reality of insufficient adaptability in promoting the development of students' core literacy. “As a localized innovative teaching mode, "PAD Class" innovatively integrates the advantages of lecture and discussion teaching modes, and fully embodies the educational concept of “student-oriented and teacher-led”. Through literature analysis and case studies, this paper discusses the current situation and effect of PAD Class in high school geography teaching, and proposes optimization strategies to provide reference for the innovation of geography teaching mode.
