In the context of the new era, how to innovate teaching carriers and models to effectively integrate the Lei Feng spirit into the volunteer cultivation system is an important issue facing ideological and political education and volunteer service work in colleges and universities. Addressing the problems of limited resources, monotonous forms, and insufficient emotional resonance in traditional practical teaching, this study introduces virtual reality technology into teaching reform and designs and constructs a virtual Lei Feng Memorial Hall that integrates immersion, interactivity, and education. By utilizing 3Ds Max and Unity3D technologies, the project not only achieves high-precision restoration and free roaming of the memorial hall scenes but, more crucially, innovatively designs an integrated "observation-feeling-action" teaching process that aligns with the objectives of cultivating volunteer spirit. This process organically combines virtual exhibitions, scenario-based tasks, collaborative exploration, and reflective summarization, achieving deepening from knowledge transfer and emotional stimulation to behavioral guidance. Practical teaching applications demonstrate that this virtual memorial hall, as a novel teaching platform, can effectively enhance students' learning engagement, spiritual identification, and practical motivation, providing a replicable path and paradigm for innovating ideological and political practical teaching and volunteer training models.
