Abstract

University infrastructure archives serve as the original records of campus construction activities, carrying core information on the evolution of campus spatial forms, iteration of educational philosophies, and continuation of cultural genes. They are the material carriers and living imprints of university organizational memory. Based on organizational memory theory, this paper explores the core reasons why infrastructure archives can construct university organizational memory, analyzes the practical challenges they face in the construction and inheritance of university memory, proposes targeted inheritance strategies, and finally summarizes research conclusions and clarifies practical guidance. It provides theoretical support and practical reference for universities to rely on infrastructure archives to preserve campus memory, foster cultural identity, and empower educational development.
