Abstract

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, university libraries are undergoing a value reconstruction from "knowledge warehouses" to "intelligent engines". This study focuses on the intersection of generative artificial intelligence, the development of special collections in university libraries, and innovation and entrepreneurship education, aiming to explore a new path for activating cultural heritage through technological innovation and empowering the cultivation of innovative talents with cultural resources. The paper first analyzes the intrinsic demands and contemporary opportunities of the development of special collection resources and innovation and entrepreneurship education. Furthermore, it systematically expounds the key technologies and application paradigms of generative AI in the links of text recognition, knowledge reconstruction, interactive presentation and creative derivation of special collection resources; On this basis, an integrated application model of "resource activation - scene construction - ability cultivation" was constructed and supported by cutting-edge practical cases at home and abroad. Finally, a dialectical analysis was conducted on the challenges of data, technology, ethics and talent faced during the integration process, and strategic prospects for the future were proposed. Research shows that generative AI is not only the core driving force for the "digital and intelligent" transformation of special collection resources, but also a key bridge to break down the barriers between cultural inheritance and innovative practice. It provides a practical and feasible solution for university libraries to reshape their educational functions and cultivate compound innovative and entrepreneurial talents in the AI era.
